We say goodbye to the 3 R's... we completed a shared writing activity, recording all of the learning that has taken place during the last 5 weeks during our Reduce, Reuse & Recycle unit!
We also created a "TOP SECRET" Mother's Day project with our 3 R's knowledge
Mrs. Fernandez and friends during language group
Mrs. Sewell joined us for a game of Hot Potato
Here are some of this week's small group activities
We sure did have fun learning about recyclable materials.  Who would have thought empty cardboard food boxes, plastic milk jugs and egg cartons could be so much fun?!?  Next week, we'll be jumping into our final unit for the year, clothing.

🌎  We hope everyone had a fabulous Earth Day!🌎

Our Reduce/Reuse/Recycle Unit continued with a focus on Earth last week.
The class enjoyed reading Secrets of our Earth shine-a-light book.
I think the kids were most intrigued by the flashlight.
We also water colored pictures of the Earth
We re-used plastic caps to practice our counting and estimating skills
We recycled toilet paper tubes to make musical instruments.  We sure were busy!
We also had a lot of fun playing with our friends.  It's great to be in preschool!
We'll be wrapping up our Reduce/Reuse/Recycle Unit this week.
We hope everyone has a wonderful week and enjoys the beautiful weather!

The class is thoroughly enjoying all of the recyclable materials you have sent in.  We're doing our part in reducing the amount of trash that hits the landfills by recycling and reusing materials.

Currently we are transforming our classroom into a grocery store and the kids are having a blast!
(store name soon to be announced . . . )
We're also using our imaginations and reusing the recyclable materials to build in the block area
During large group we sorted metal/aluminum, cardboard, paper and plastic
We reused milk jugs to play catch in the gym!
